After her Bachelor's at Bogazici University, Demet Adıgüzel got her Master's degree on Lens Based Media Design and Communication at Piet Zwart Institute of Willem De Kooning Academy.
Her works have been exhibited and published on several occasions throughout Holland including TENT Rotterdam, Museum Boerhaave Leiden, WORM Rotterdam, EYE Amsterdam, and also for projects involving Pink Ribbon and Codarts Dance Academy.
Her short film “The Book” has been chosen to receive the Award of Excellence in Filmmaking at the 2014 Canada International Film Festival.

Projects involving stage and musical works were always a part of her life from a very young age. In addition to being lead vocalist for several music bands, she was also a soloist and chorist of Boğaziçi University (Polyphonic) Rock Choir. She completed several courses in Music Theory. Besides the ongoing vocal performances, assignments and music lessons; she is also currently working on songwriting/composition projects.

Additionally she is the translator of Stephanie Meyer’s bestseller book Breaking Dawn of the Twilight Saga.

Currently residing in Rotterdam; she is working as a professional photographer, filmmaker, video artist and musician.
